isitnicked.com is operated by Livestream Data Systems Ltd (Company Number: 10287642, VAT Number: 284129688), a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Description

isitnicked.com provides vehicle checking services that allow users to:

• Look up basic vehicle details using a vehicle registration mark (VRM) or vehicle identification number (VIN)
• Check whether a vehicle has been reported as stolen on the Police National Computer (PNC) (registered users only)
• View MOT history and tax status information
• Purchase a Full Vehicle History Check report (see Part B)

3. Account Registration

To access stolen vehicle check results and MOT history, you must register for a free account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this service to:

• Conduct bulk or automated lookups without our prior written consent
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from our website
• Use the information obtained for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the data provided
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Create multiple accounts to evade usage limits
• Use datacenter IP addresses, VPNs, or proxies to disguise the origin of requests

5. Data Accuracy & Disclaimer

The website and all services are provided "as is" and Livestream Data Systems Ltd gives no warranties, conditions, guarantees or representations, express or implied, that this website will be available without interruption or that it is error, virus or bug free.

Important: The information provided by this service is obtained from third-party data sources (including but not limited to the DVLA, DVSA, Police National Computer, insurers, finance houses, and approved data partners) and is presented on an "as is" basis. While we endeavour to ensure accuracy:

• We do not guarantee that the information is complete, accurate, or up to date — this may be a result of any one particular data supplier being in the process of updating their records
• Stolen vehicle check results reflect the status at the time of the check only and may change at any time
• A "clear" result does not guarantee that a vehicle has never been stolen or is not currently stolen — it means no marker was found on the PNC at the time of the check
• This service should not be used as the sole basis for purchasing a vehicle. We strongly recommend obtaining a professional mechanical inspection and independent legal advice before any purchase
• MOT and tax data is sourced from DVLA/DVSA and may not reflect very recent changes
• You are responsible for how you use the information provided
• Where a screenshot or other copy of our service output is taken, it is at the producer's own risk as to the continuing accuracy of that data

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information provided by this service
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law

7. Data Mining & Automated Access

Livestream Data Systems Ltd does not permit data mining, scraping, or automated access of any kind. Any person or IP address that is seen to be automatically attempting to obtain data from any database or service operated by Livestream Data Systems Ltd will have their IP address blocked and service discontinued without notice.

We employ multiple layers of security including browser fingerprinting, behavioural analysis, challenge-response verification, datacenter IP blocking, and geographic restrictions. Attempts to circumvent these protections constitute a breach of these terms and may result in referral to law enforcement under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

8. Intellectual Property

Except where expressly acknowledged, the contents of this website are © Livestream Data Systems Ltd, and Livestream Data Systems Ltd is the proprietor of all intellectual property rights therein. You agree that you will not copy, reproduce, redistribute, download, republish, transmit, display, adapt, alter, create derivative works from, or otherwise extract or re-utilise any material appearing on this website except where specific facilities are provided for this purpose.

9. Search Logging

All vehicle searches are logged along with the user's email address and IP address. This logging is carried out for the prevention and detection of criminal activity and may be shared with law enforcement agencies upon lawful request.

10. Third-Party Links

This website contains hypertext links to websites operated by parties other than Livestream Data Systems Ltd. We do not control these external websites and are not responsible for their content. Inclusion of hypertext links does not imply endorsement of the material or statements on those sites.

11. Personal Details & Account Deactivation

Unless you explicitly agree, your details will not be passed to any third party. However, by using this service and creating an account, you agree to Livestream Data Systems Ltd passing your details to government agencies where a criminal act has been discovered, committed, or is suspected of being committed. By creating an account you also explicitly permit Livestream Data Systems Ltd to pass on your details, including location where a request was made, to law enforcement agencies where a stolen vehicle has been discovered from a search you have made.

On request, your account access will be removed. However, we will keep a record of your sign-up email, IP address, and any searches made for a period of 12 months from the date of any particular search. We will keep a record of the account created for a period of 12 months after account deactivation has been requested. Once deactivation has been requested, the account will no longer be accessible. The purpose of keeping details for 12 months is for the prevention and detection of criminal activity in relation to motor vehicles, registration marks, or vehicle identification numbers.

Any details held from a deactivated account will never be distributed to a third party or used for marketing. All disclosures made to any government or law enforcement agency will only be where there is a legal power for us to disclose information, such as in compliance with a warrant or a Data Protection Act request under section 29 exemption.

12. Law Enforcement Requests

Any request for information by a government or law enforcement agency will only be accepted if a Data Protection Act exemption request form is completed and sent to info@isitnicked.com. Any such request will only be accepted if sent from an official government or law enforcement email address.

13. Nature of the Paid Service

The Full Vehicle History Check is a paid service that provides a comprehensive one-time vehicle report for a fee. Each report is generated automatically from third-party and official data sources (such as the DVLA, insurers, finance record holders, MIAFTR, and law enforcement databases).

• You do not need to create an account to purchase a report, although doing so allows you to store and access your reports in future
• Each report is specific to the vehicle registration you provide at the time of purchase
• Reports include (where data is available): stolen status, finance checks, write-off and accident damage history, mileage verification, vehicle valuation, keeper history, plate changes, MOT history, tax and emissions data, technical specifications, manufacturer recalls, and more

14. Payment and Delivery

• Payment is required in full before a report is generated
• Prices are shown clearly before purchase and include VAT where applicable
• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details
• Once payment is successful, your report will be generated and displayed immediately
• A link to your report will be sent to the email address provided (or your account email if logged in)
• If you choose to save your payment method, your card details are stored securely by Stripe for future purchases. You can remove saved cards at any time from your account

15. Refunds and Cancellations

Because each report is created instantly and specifically for the vehicle you request, it cannot be cancelled or refunded once generated, except:

• If we are unable to deliver the report at all due to a technical failure on our part
• If the report is materially incorrect due to an error on our part (not the underlying data sources)

Refund requests are handled fairly and in accordance with UK consumer law. To request a refund, please contact info@isitnicked.com with your order reference.

16. Report Accuracy

Full Vehicle History Check reports are compiled from multiple third-party data sources. In addition to the disclaimers in Section 5:

• Finance records reflect data held at the time of the check and may not include very recent agreements or settlements
• Write-off and damage records are sourced from MIAFTR and insurer databases; not all incidents may be recorded
• Valuation figures are estimates based on market data and should not be treated as a formal valuation
• Mileage records are compiled from MOT, DVLA, and other sources; gaps in recording are possible
• Keeper history shows the number of registered keepers, not necessarily the number of owners
• Reports are for information only and should not replace a professional mechanical inspection or independent legal advice

17. Use of Reports

You may use a purchased report for personal or internal business purposes only. You must not:

• Resell, redistribute, or publish the report or its contents
• Claim ownership of or modify the report's contents
• Use the report or the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes

All intellectual property in the reports and website belongs to Livestream Data Systems Ltd or our data partners.

18. Report Storage and Access

• If you are logged in when purchasing, the report is automatically saved to your account and can be accessed at any time
• If you are not logged in, you can access your report via the link sent to your email address
• If you later create an account using the same email address, your report(s) will be linked to your account automatically
• Reports are stored indefinitely, but we reserve the right to remove reports after a reasonable period (not less than 12 months)
• Report data reflects the status of the vehicle at the time of purchase and is not updated retrospectively

19. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms or are misusing the service. In the case of paid services, access to previously purchased reports will be maintained where possible.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services, or legal obligations. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

21. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We store your email address, account information, search history, and (where applicable) purchased reports. Payment card data is processed and stored securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting info@isitnicked.com, subject to our obligation to retain certain records for legal and regulatory purposes.

22. Governing Law

These terms and your use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may choose to bring proceedings in your local courts.
